Mixed of Macaroni +Fusilli 3 cups
Salt 1 teaspoon
Fresh cream 6 tablespoons
Vegetarian Seasoning 1/2 tablespoon
1 Green Capsicum diced 80-100g
Vegetarian Ham diced 80g
3/4 Carrot, diced 60g
9-10 Pieces of Mushrooms, sliced
Follow the three steps outlined here for irresistible pasta.
Step One : cook the pasta in a gallon of boiling water. Seasoned with 2 tablespoons of salt and 1-2 drops of olive or cooking oil.
Wait until pasta is about 70% tender. Drain pasta and dump it onto a large-lipped cookie sheet to cool and dry.
Step Two: Season Veges
In a large skillet or wok, saute and season vegetarian ham, carrots and pepper until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes
Steps Three: Cream Sauce
1. Set a sauce pan on low heat, and add butter.
When butter starts to bubble, add 2-3 tbsp flour each time, add flour bit at a time to avoid clumping and mix well.
2. Keep in low heat. Add in milk bit by bit, using a spatula to incorporate the milk into the dough. Smooth out the clumps. Low heat and stirring from time to time to avoid burning.
(If you prefer a sauce that is less thick, then can add more milk, if you prefer a less creamy taste, then can substitute some milk for water.)
3. When the cream sauce starts to simmer, add in the mushroom. After the mushroom is cooked, add in fresh cream and stir well.
4. Add cooked pasta and vege into the cream sauce. The reason to cook pasta 70% tender was to allow the cream sauce to absorb into the pasta.
5. Ready to enjoy!
