Green Peas Soup



50g Butter

1/2 of a lettuce, sliced

Peas 450 grams


  1. In a medium saucepan melt the butter on medium heat. Add the lettuce and cook until softened, a coup minutes.
  2. Then add the peas and water (approximately 1 litre) and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  3. Keep simmering it till the peas are soft.
  4. Blend the mixture with a hand blender or a fruit mixer (by pouring the soup over into the fruit mixer). Add seasoning such as salt and pepper.

Ready to Eat.

The good: This food is a good source of Dietary Fiber, Thiamin, Folate and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin K.

The bad: This food may high in Saturated Fat
